When Hurricane Sandy swept over the East Coast in late October, it devastated communities in New York and New Jersey. Though much of the national media attention has largely gone away, not everyone has forgotten that the recovery still continues. Air Force Chapel communities were asked to take up a special collection to help those affected by the hurricane and boy did they take up the challenge. More than 50 communities raised $151,000, according to the Air Force News Service.
