Some airmen at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio got a nice bonus on the job recently — a visit from Cincinnati Bengals players Geno Atkins, Jermaine Gresham, Adam Jones and their head coach, Marvin Lewis. The foursome dropped in to eat lunch with airmen and to sign autographs in the community center.
“I think that it was very humble of them to come all the way out to ‘Wright-Pat’ to promote and to meet service members like us and honor the fact that we are serving the country,” said Senior Airman Dorna Momtaz. The airmen were also told they will be receiving a discounted ticket price for the Oct. 7 game against the Miami Dolphins.
“We do a lot of things with the military but this is again a way of saying ‘Thank you’… it’s a big game for us,” Lewis said.
“I’m very thankful for what they do for us, and anytime I can give back I’m 100 percent for it,” Jones said.
“It’s pretty amazing to see professional players like this, I mean, it’s a dream,” said Airman 1st Class and Bengals fan Chris Cox.

It’s nice to see the athletes stopping by to support their troops. You can see they enjoy visiting just as much as the service men and women.
