Olympic swimmers Ryan Lochte and Conor Dwyer, along with the University of Florida swim team, recently got wet and trained alongside pararescuemen with the 920th Rescue Wing at Patrick Air Force Base, Fla.
Our partner Florida Today reports that the swimmers came on base for an indoctrination course, which included CrossFit training, kettlebell shuttling, group push-ups in the sand, pull-ups, beach running and swimming in the base pool.
“Coming to this, I knew it was going to be hard,” Lochte said. “It’s teamwork. I’m used to a lot of the stuff, but some of it is new.”
